Ferrell then led the crowd in a "Eli Manning made Tom Brady a 'bitch'" chant, drawing boos and enthusiastic participation.

Ferrell also did not hesitate to tease Brady's former coach, former Patriots coach Bill Belichick, as he said sarcastically: "Hey Bill, wherever you were, it was Tom, not you," and he mocked Belichick's current employment situation, saying: "Bill, I know you're unemployed." Now, but you work at Zip Recruiter. Good luck with that,” he showed off an elegant flirtation.

Affleck's deep love for the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee (which originated in his hometown near Quincy, Massachusetts) is widely known. Brady has appeared in Dunkin' Donuts commercials alongside Affleck and his friend, Academy Award winner Matt Damon.

Affleck criticized Patriots fans who have criticized Brady's decisions throughout his career and the team's franchise. "You're not fans. You're bitches."

Host Kevin Hart followed Affleck onto the stage and said: "Another white boy of humour," while event director Jeff Ross added: "I wish Netflix had commercials for the first time."
